About the Embroidery Extravaganza Trade Show and Seminars
The Embroidery & Direct-to-Garment Extravaganza Seminar Tour is produced by SWF East and strategic partners. Back in September of 2002, we produced our first Seminar & Trade Show held in Detroit, MI. Since our modest beginnings we have grown steadily to become a powerful and respected training resource in the apparel decorating industry.
One of the secrets to our success is that we provide hands-on demonstrations on the products we showcase during the event. Furthermore, the advantage of our seminars is that we meet with attendees in an intimate setting allowing for extensive interaction between participating vendors and visitors. Plus, our instructors actually make their living as apparel decorators. They're real embroiderers and screen printers (like yourself) and they understand the real issues you face everyday. They teach using plain English, and each session is presented in a casual style with humor to make learning new techniques easy and fun. Best of all, our instructors don't hold anything back. If they train for us, they've agreed to share with other embroiderers and screen printers all their inside tips, tricks of the trade, and secrets that have taken them years to learn on their own.
That's why we offer the Embroidery & Direct-to-Garment Extravaganza seminars five times per year in different cities around the Eastern U.S. We invite you to attend one of our seminars and see for yourself what makes our days of training something very special.

Hi Bill,
I wanted to write and thank you. We really enjoyed the entire show and seminars. I currently own an SWF E1501C. I jumped into embroidery with no sewing experience and fell in love before I even had the machine. This weekend I learned so many new tricks and got so many ideas, I can't wait to play again. THAT is priceless. We are still small and at home- but grew a lot this year, and look forward to many more. Thank you for the resources, the knowledge, the PEP talk (we all need that), for everything!! A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!! To you and your team! We are looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great Night!

Hi Alison,
I do not know the answers to all of your questions. However, I cannot say
enough good about SWF. We went to the Embroidery Extravaganza this past
weekend in Springfield, Ma. I did not take the Machine Maintenance Seminar as I
just wasn't sure what to expect of the whole thing ( wish I had). My
suggestion is to find your closest show and the best way to get yourself there.
It was not your ISS Show (These are awesome, too. Walk away drooling every
time!) It was better. Small enough to actually get to know many people in
your shoes or different. Energetic, full of information, not major sales
focused (although they will sell don't get me wrong). But the focus was to
make sure everyone that had bought or was thinking of buying had all the
support they needed. Can't Say Enough Good. Good Luck!!!

Bill,
Kathy and I both really enjoyed the Extravaganza. As new business owners (especially in the embroidery business) we didn't know what we didn't know. We learned an incredible amount in two days. I especially appreciated the seminars on digitizing.
I am definitely interested in the seminar information you will have available online. Thank you for making it possible.
